History:

Johannes Jacobus Taljaard, known as Arno, is the the sole proprietor of Taljaard Attorneys and a proud Rustenburg local. He matriculated from Bergsig Academy in 2017 and went on to complete his LL.B at the North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, in 2022. In 2023, he began his articles at Strydom Botha Incorporated in Westonaria, where he spent two years working closely with his principal, J.S.G. Strydom, a seasoned attorney, notary, and conveyancer with over 40 years of legal experience.

During this time, Arno took on a leading role in litigation matters, gaining hands-on experience with a record of successful outcomes. He was admitted as an attorney on 7 March 2025, and shortly thereafter, an opportunity arose to take the next step. Now at the helm of his own firm, Arno brings a refreshed and modern approach to legal practice, with a focus on transparency, accessibility, and placing his clients at the centre of everything he does.
