Full Job Description
Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable):
- Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
- More than 1 year post-admission experience
- Proven litigation experience (Magistrates’ Court & High Court)
- Ability to manage matters independently from inception to finalisation
- Fluent in English
- Fluency in Afrikaans and Portuguese will be considered an added advantage
- Strong administrative, organisational and compliance skills
- Stable employment record with contactable references
- Valid driver’s licence
- Based in Pretoria
Experience Required:
- Administration of deceased estates and trusts
- Family, commercial, criminal and labour litigation
- Court appearances, trials, applications and opposed matters
- Drafting pleadings, affidavits and heads of argument
- Client consultations and ongoing file management
Additional Exposure:
- Cross-border and international matters
- Immigration, legalisation, apostilles and document authentication
Commencement: 01 May 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
