Core Responsibilities: • Legal Research & Opinions: Conduct in-depth research on statutes, case law, and regulations. Draft legal opinions and memoranda. • Drafting & Documentation: Prepare pleadings, contracts, affidavits, legal correspondence, and reports. • Court & Tribunal Attendance: Represent clients in lower courts, attend mediations, arbitrations, and consultations. • Client Liaison: Communicate with clients to gather facts, explain legal procedures, and provide updates. • Case Management: Assist in organizing case files, managing deadlines, and coordinating with advocates and external counsel. • Compliance & Strategy: Support strategic litigation planning, especially in areas like family law and contractual disputes

Qualifications
• LLB Degree from a recognized South African university.
• Admission as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• 1 years post-admission experience preferred, but newly admitted attorneys should apply.

Typical Practice Areas
• Litigation: Civil, commercial, or family law.
• Corporate & Commercial Law: Drafting agreements, advising businesses.
• Must have valid drivers licence;
• Must be computer literate
