Description:

Wright, Rose-Innes was established in Germiston in 1902 by founding partners LA Wright and JJ Rose-Innes. Over time, the firm expanded and became known as Wright, Rose-Innes, Louw & Wise, but subsequently reverted to the original name and then incorporated in 1998.

From humble beginnings in the small mining town of Germiston, the firm expanded its area of practice to include Bedfordview and Johannesburg, with the object of best serving the interests of its numerous clients in Gauteng. While the firm's growth has resulted in the capacity to represent large corporate clients over a vast range of issues, it remains committed to providing the personal attention its individual clients have come to expect.

The firm has embraced a philosophy of empowerment, underpinned by a long history of skills transfer programs, which have seen numerous previously disadvantaged individuals being trained as clerks and attorneys over the years.

With over 120 years of experience in representing corporate and individual clients, Wright, Rose-Innes has stood the test of time by adapting and evolving within an ever-changing society in South Africa. However, the founding partners' original values remain constant in the commitment to provide the best, most efficient, friendly, and affordable service and protection available within the law, for the benefit and satisfaction of clients.

Wright, Rose-Innes' reputation for quick and efficient service, as well as its expert knowledge in a range of legal fields, has resulted in long-term relationships with clients, including large and small companies and corporations, listed entities, banking institutions, city councils, insurance companies, developers, estate agents, many private individuals, as well as correspondent attorneys throughout South Africa and abroad.

The firm has a long history with leading building societies and banks, and today has appointments on the panels of all the major banking institutions. Early in its existence, Wright Rose-Innes was appointed attorney to the former City Council of Germiston. Their expertise accrued in municipal law subsequently resulted in the firm's appointment as attorneys to the former town councils of Edenvale, Bedfordview, and Katlehong as well as the East Rand Regional Services Council.
