Deceased Estate
A deceased Estate comes into existence when a person dies and leaving assets In that case a death notice must be completed and the estate of a deceased must then be reported to the Master of the High Court within 14 days from the date of death. The Master must be notified by the nominated Executor or persons in possession of the Will. Thereafter the estate of the said person will be dealt with in terms of the interstate Succession Act or in terms of the said will

Depending on the value of the property, the Master of the High Court can either issue a letter of authority or a letter of executorship. The former being issued in the event that the estate is less than R250 000.00 or less and the Former in the event that assists are more than  R250 000 .

Administration of deceased estate involves   obtaining all the relevant information of all debts against the estate, investigate the validity of the debts and claims against the estate and to ensure that all varied debts are discharged and thereafter transfer the remaining assets to the rightful heirs
