The Centre for Environmental Rights is a non-profit organisation and law clinic, with offices in Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa.

The Centre for Environmental Rights (CER) helps communities and civil society organisations in South Africa to realise the Constitutional right to a healthy environment, by advocating and litigating for environmental justice.

The CER takes on cases where the person or organisation requesting advice is unable to afford to engage the services of private environmental attorneys.
