Leanne Wium

Leanne is a Director at TRM Tax Attorneys, specialising in tax disputes under Chapter 9 of the Tax Administration Act. She advises on objections, appeals and ADR proceedings, and deals directly with SARS across audit, legal and debt management processes. 

She acts for clients in matters where disputes intersect with enforcement, including collections, third-party appointments and tax compliance status issues. She began her career in the legal field immediately after matriculating, working as a legal secretary and gaining exposure to various areas of law. While working, she completed her LLB at the University of South Africa in 2020, completed her articles, and was admitted as an attorney in 2023. 

She further strengthened her tax expertise with a certificate in tax law from the University of Cape Town, supported by ongoing experience in complex and high-value tax dispute matters.
