Sameerah Butler

I hold BA and LLB degrees from the University of Johannesburg and am an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, with Right of Appearance in the High Court.

With more than nine years of dedicated litigation experience, I have developed a well-rounded and dynamic practice focused on civil, family, and administrative law. My work covers a wide range of legal matters, from contractual and commercial disputes to matrimonial and parental rights cases, as well as administrative law challenges. This includes handling complex breach of contract and commercial enforcement actions, high-conflict divorces involving custody and relocation, and intricate matters concerning parental responsibilities and rights. I have also advised and represented clients in proceedings against state entities, requiring both strategic litigation and effective stakeholder engagement.
