Damian Swabey, a seasoned attorney with 24 years of post-admission experience, leads Van Deventer & Van Deventer Attorneys' Collections Centre in Cape Town. Originally from the Eastern Cape, Damian moved to Cape Town in 2009, dedicating a decade to the private and corporate sectors before joining the firm in 2019.

Holding both B.Juris and LLB degrees, Damian's expertise is further solidified by his qualification as a debt counsellor and over eighteen years in credit management. His comprehensive background includes pivotal roles such as Collections Manager for a debt collection agency and Recoveries and Specialised Collections Manager at RCS (a Division of BNP Paribas).
