Aqeelah’s current practice areas are general litigation which includes, but are not limited to, contractual disputes, debt collection, evictions (PIE and ESTA) and family law (Divorce and Maintenance).
Since her admission as an attorney, she has been dealing with both Magistrates Court (District and Regional) and High Court litigation and has most recently been successful in the Supreme Court of Appeal.
In addition to the general litigation, she handles liquor license applications and attends to a wide variety of correspondent work.
Aqeelah obtained her LLB from the University of the Western Cape. She served her period of articles at Millers Incorporated whereafter she was appointed as an associate in the firm’s litigation department.
