Lisa is skilled in all aspects pertaining to Litigation and Recoveries, and has experience in Commercial Law and Compliance Law.

Lisa is a dynamic legal professional born and raised in the Eastern Cape with a strong academic and practical foundation, who brings both passion and precision to the firm. He matriculated from Dale College Boys’ High School and went on to graduate from Nelson Mandela University, earning a BCom Law degree in 2019 and an LLB degree in 2020 which laid the foundation for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Lisa began his legal career as a candidate legal practitioner at a reputable law firm in King William’s Town (now Qonce), where he honed his legal skills and was admitted as a legal practitioner in 2024. He then joined the Goldberg & de Villiers family as an Associate in 2024 and has become an integral part of the Dispute Resolution team.

Lisa is particularly skilled in debt collection legal processes, legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, briefing counsel, court appearances, advising clients on the legal implications of various business decisions and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Lisa is also knowledgeable in preparing, reviewing and providing legal advice on a wide range of agreements including, amongst others, lease agreements, credit agreements, terms and conditions, acknowledgments of debt and settlement agreements.
