Shirley Somo is an attorney and regulatory expert with experience in the legal, regulatory, risk, and compliance fields. Admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 1998, she began her career as an article clerk at Edward Nathan & Friedland before transitioning into the telecommunications industry, holding senior positions at SATRA (now ICASA) and MTN Group.
