Tsakane Sibisi

Tsakane obtained her BA (Law) and her LLB at the North West University in 2016 and 2018 respectively. During her BA(LAW) studies, she was elected as an Academics Officer of the Law Student Council in 2015 and in the same year, she was recognized as one of the top 15% achieving students by the Golden Key International Honour Society. In 2016, she was subsequently elected as the Deputy President of the Law Student Council. During her LLB studies, she formed part of the Black Lawyers Association’s executive committee as Vice Chairperson.

Tsakane was further elected as a Student Member of the South African Chapter International Association of Women Judges, a Platform to empower women through continued judicial education and skills development. She joined MacRobert Attorneys as a Candidate Attorney in January 2019 where she gained experience in the firm’s Personal Injury, Financial Recoveries, and Corporate Law departments. Tsakane was admitted as an Attorney in July 2021 and is currently a Junior Associate in the Financial Recoveries department.
