History:

Bongani Baliso obtained his LLB Degree from the North -West University in 2019. He completed his articles of clerkship with a Pretoria based law firm in the year 2021. Bongani was admitted as an attorney in August 2021. He was thereafter retained as an Associate and with a few months in practise as an admitted attorney he was later promoted to be a Senior Associate. In that role he headed the litigation department and gained vast experience in handling high profile cases and litigating in the country’s highest courts.

In the year 2022 he completed a course in Advanced Trial Advocacy Training with the University of Pretoria. This allowed him to apply to the Registrar of the High Court for a right of appearance certificate. In making High Court appearances he gained more experience in litigation. In the year 2023 he opened his own practise (Baliso Attorneys) where he serves as a Director.

Bongani is currently registered as a candidate for a Master’s Degree in Constitutional and Administrative Law with the University of Pretoria
