History:

Thandeka is a Litigation Attorney who specialises in Family Law & Divorce. Her other fields of specialties range from Commercial and Corporate Law, General Civil Litigation, and Labour and Employment Law. 

Thandeka is an admitted Attorney of the High Court, where she holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree and is studying towards her Masters of Laws (LLM) Degree in Insurance Law.

Thandeka has been elected to serve on the Executive Council of the House of Constituents for the Law Society of South Africa.

During her studies Thandeka proved herself to be a thought leader and held several positions within the Black Lawyers Association Student Chapter.  Her most noteworthy achievement was being appointed as the first female National Executive Committee Deputy President where she had the honour of leading over 20 universities.

She also served in the Student Representative Committee. She continues to serve as the Secretary General for the Black Lawyers Association North West Provincial Committee.

Thandeka is also a World Economic Forum Global Shapers member, which is a hand selected collection of extraordinary young individuals passionate about making a strategic impact. The Global Shapers are thought leaders who influence policy through dialogue, policy contributions and partnerships.

Thandeka is also a keen philanthropist. She uses her love and knowledge of the law to uplift the
community where she is from and women in general.  She launched the Non-Profit Organisation
called “I Am Woman I am Rock” which is a community-based initiative aimed at empowering young ladies to pursue further education and make use of the opportunities presented through them by government and the private sector. She encourages them to become masters of their crafts and actively seek bursaries and employment for these aspiring young ladies. Thandeka’s belief is to empower young woman so that they can also one day empower, and that the law can and should be used as a powerful tool to achieve change.
