History:

Hayley served as in-house counsel to BDO, a multinational Audit, Tax, and Advisory firm, for over 8 years. During her tenure at BDO, Hayley was involved in a multitude of commercial transactions in various industries, including renewable energy, hospitality, farming, retail, and construction. She worked closely with the tax and corporate finance departments, assisting with corporate restructuring and legal due diligence. As such, she has extensive experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts.

Hayley has extensive knowledge and a strong understanding of the Companies Act, which, coupled with the knowledge and experience of our skilled tax team, bolsters the TRM Team when dealing with complex tax matters and the various tax nuances thereto.

Hayley is currently completing her Chartered Secretary qualification with the Chartered Governance Institute of South Africa.
