History:

Tasmiya completed her LLB degree cum laude at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban in 2014. She achieved Dean’s Commendations as well as Merit Certificates in various modules. She is also a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. Tasmiya was admitted as an attorney of the High Court in 2017 after completing her articles at an international law firm. Tasmiya thereafter obtained her LLM degree in Business Law at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban in 2017.

She has experience in banking litigation and corporate litigation. Tasmiya specialises in recoveries, which include liquidations, sequestrations and business rescue. Tasmiya joined Cox Yeats in 2018 and practices in the Insolvency and Business Rescue Team.
