History:

Monash is a practicing attorney with experience in both High Court and Magistrates’ Court litigation. He also has many years experience in legal work for the Council.

Monash Pillay graduated from the University of Johannesburg after completing a Bachelor of Arts (Law) and postgraduate LLB degree in 2012.

He thereafter practiced for his own account as Pillay and Devachander Attorneys until 2015 when he joined Tuckers Attorneys.

He was admitted as an Attorney in March 2012 after having completed his articles in a criminal law firm. Post articles, Monash practiced primarily criminal and civil litigation.

Monash was appointed as a director of Tuckers Attorneys in 2016 and now heads up the Bond Department and is actively involved with the Finance Department of the firm.
