I am a partner at Barter McKellar and I am a dual qualified attorney (South Africa) and solicitor (England and Wales), having practiced in both jurisdictions. My qualifications include a LLB (cum laude) and a SAMTRAC (Safety Management Training Course) through NOSA (cum laude) for the development, implementation and maintenance of occupational safety, health and environment management systems.

I have a strong business acumen and I have extensive experience in corporate and commercial matters that affect business. My experience includes construction law (includes FIDIC and NEC), commercial law, corporate law, commercial litigation, dispute resolution, gambling law, employment law and insolvency law.

I have been responsible for advising on, negotiating, structuring and implementing numerous high level corporate and commercial transactions for both listed and unlisted entities for various high profile clients, some of which includes the likes of listed entities, large private companies, family conglomerates, entrepreneurs and individuals.
