History:

Monica MacDonald studied at the University of Witwatersrand from 1980-1983 and obtained a legal bachelor of arts degree. From 1986 to 1988 Monica studied her bachelor of laws at WITS.

She commenced articles in 1989 with Harvey Nossel and Co. one of the ten most prestigious law firms in South Africa.

She was admitted as an attorney during 1991. She commenced her own practice in 1994 and has been practicing for her own account ever since.
