Natasha du Preez was appointed as an associate and the office manager at Van der Spuy & Partners’ Cape Town office in June 2017.

Natasha completed her LL.B degree at Stellenbosch and went on to acquire a structured Master’s degree. After admission she mainly started practising in the field of labour law, which she now regards as her field of expertise. Natasha has a vast amount of appearance and litigation experience under her belt. The likes of the CCMA and other statutory bargaining councils along with the Labour Court have seen her appearances on a regular basis. Her proficiency is not limited to the drafting of papers and contracts, but also to provide risk orientated legal advice.

Prior to joining the Van der Spuy & Partners family, Natasha served under the management of Bradley Conradie Halton Cheadle Attorneys, as well as the Office of the Premier. As a result, she has been exposed to providing sound advice to large corporate entities, universities, local and provincial government.

At present, Natasha is extending her career into the realm of High Court litigation and acts as the correspondent for the firm and other instructing attorneys situated all over the country.

Natasha appreciates a well-balanced life and she perceives herself as a “weekend warrior”. In her spare time, she enjoys running in the great outdoors and playing a round of golf with family and friends.
