History:

Karen Vermaak has been practising as an attorney for the last twenty years during which time she has been involved in numerous major personal injury, medical negligence and third party claims. She has lectured personal injury and third party procedure to candidate attorneys at the Practical Legal Training School, since its inception, under the auspices of the Law Society of South Africa.

She is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers in the United Kingdom (APIL) and South African Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (SAAPIL). She also has extensive experience in investigating and dealing with asbestos related claims against foreign companies.
