Jaco obtained his LLB from the North-West University (Potchefstroom) and he completed a post graduate diploma in management. He undertook his articles of clerkship at Van Huyssteens Commercial Attorneys in 2016 and was subsequently admitted as an attorney of the High Court of South Africa. In 2017 Jaco was appointed as a professional assistant at Van Huyssteens Commercial Attorneys where he specialises in the restructuring of entities for Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) purposes.
