History:

Hennie van der Walt has more than 16 years experience as a practicing attorney.

His career path started in the nineties as a candidate attorney. He was admitted as an attorney

in 1997 and had the opportunity to gain valuable experience by working as a professional

assistant for several big to medium sized law firms.

After spending a couple of years in the long term insurance industry, he established Hennie

van der Walt attorneys in 2009. From the outset he came into contact with a diverse range of

clients from different cultural, business and personal backgrounds.

This experience gave him the much needed understanding of the specific legal problems faced

by many South Africans on a day to day basis, not only in their personal lives but also in their

workplaces as well as in the business world.

Hennie now uses his legal and personal experience to better serve the needs of his current

clients. He also applies the knowledge he gained to the advantage of all new clients that approach

him for assistance.

Many of the legal problems he assisted with since 2009 became the specific niche areas of his

legal practice. These include employment related issues, disputes between landlords or tenants,

divorce and family law issues, civil litigation and the negotiation and drafting of a variety of

business agreements.

Hennie especially enjoys giving advice to clients and welcome potential clients that may need

assistance in his areas of focus.
