Christelle was admitted as Attorney and Conveyancer by the High Court of South Africa (Transvaal Provincial Division) at Pretoria on 20 March 2006 and became director at Swanepoel & Partners Incorporated in August of the same year.

She was awarded the Woman Attorney of the Year Trophy by the Mpumalanga Attorney's Council in 2007.
