History:

Chris completed his LL.B degree at Potchefstroom University in 1994 whereafter he was employed by the Department of Justice as a Prosecutor in the Regional Courts.

In 1997 he relocated to Cape Town to complete his articles and was admitted as an attorney in 1998 with right of appearance in the High Court. He joined De Vries Shields Chiat in 2006.

He specialises in Personal Injury Law and has extensive experience in Civil and Criminal Litigation as well as Family Law.
