Janine Schoeman

Janine obtained her Bachelor of Commerce in Law (BCom Law) and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degrees through the University of South Africa (UNISA), completing the majority of her subjects with distinction. Following her academic studies, she completed her full-time Practical Legal Training through LEAD.

Janine commenced her legal career by serving her articles at Nhlabathi Gys Louw & Partners Inc. In May 2015, she was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa, after which she was appointed as a Professional Assistant at the firm.

On 9 September 2016, Janine was admitted as a Conveyancer and Notary Public of the High Court of South Africa, further expanding her expertise in property law, conveyancing and notarial practice.

In 2023, Janine was appointed as a Director of Nhlabathi Gys Louw Inc. With extensive experience in conveyancing, property law and notarial practice, Janine remains closely involved in every matter entrusted to her. She personally oversees the progress of transactions and is committed to providing clients with efficient, professional and personalised legal services.

Janine personally attends at the Johannesburg Deeds Registry on a daily basis, ensuring that all transactions under her supervision are diligently attended to and progressed efficiently, with a strong focus on timely registration.

As a Notary Public, Janine is also able to assist clients with a comprehensive range of notarial services, including the preparation and execution of notarial agreements and deeds, authentication and certification of documents, antenuptial contracts, notarial bonds, property-related notarial matters and other notarial requirements.
