Qualifications:

She was admitted as attorney by the supreme court & conveyancer Transvaal Provincial Division on 28/01/1992.
She completed her 2 years articles/clerkship at Schumann van den Heever & Slabbert, a well known attorney firm in Kempton Park from 01/12/1989 to 14/03/1991.
Her further qualifications include a Technikon RSA National Diploma in Registration of Deeds obtained on 01/07/1990.
Her first employment after studies was at the Deeds Office Pretoria from 01/01/1988 to 30/11/1989.
She studied at University of Pretoria from 01/01/1983 to 31/12/1987 and obtained the following degrees: Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) on 29/03/1988 and Baccalaureus Commercial Law on 07/04/1986.

History:

Petro Lessing is an admitted attorney and conveyancer since 1992 from which date she attended to property transactions. She has a history of 32 years+ in conveyancing, starting at the Deeds office Pretoria in 1988. She practiced from 1997 under her own company name, changed to Petro Lessing Attorneys, to capture her maiden surname. She initially practiced under the name Petro Herbst Duggan Attorney Firm. She moved to the Western Cape in May 2019 and now practices from her office in Strand.

She is known for her accuracy, efficiency and ability to expedite all steps in the conveyancing process, and drive the process rather than to wait for it to happen.

Transfer fees are based on the prescribed conveyancing fees according to the selling price of the property.
