participates in the administration of this practice and the training of younger professional and
administrative personnel. Mr Meaden makes a point of remaining abreast of all professional
matters which this law firm retains mandates on and adopts a policy of allocating specific
attendances to be undertaken by younger professional members as opposed to simply delegating
matters. This ensures a proper and continuous passing on of professional skill and experience to
younger professional members of this law firm as the mandates unfold and the timeous conduct
of the mandates at hand. This also avoids young inexperienced professional members
compromising mandates and getting into trouble. Proceeding as above also allows young
professionals to grow in confidence and find their strengths.
On social upliftment and beneficiation, RMA also expends substantial professional time in
rendering services on a pro bono basis and including in re matters referred by the Legal Practice
Council/ProBono.org and from private communities. Over the period 2018-2023, RMA expended
in the region of 900 confirmed professional hours in dealing with LPC referrals.
