History:

Marcello Ross is an associate in the Commercial Department at Van der Spuy & Partners. Growing up in Paarl, he attended both Klein Nederburg Senior Secondary, as well as Paarl Boys High. He subsequently obtained an LL.B along with an Advanced Diploma in Corporate and Securities Law at the University of South Africa. He has been with Van der Spuy and Partners since 2014, when he started as a candidate attorney.

Being schooled in commercial law, Marcello largely assists clients with commercial transactions at Van der Spuy & Partners. His core expertise includes commercial contract drafting and conveyancing related work. It is no surprise that he is currently pursuing an LL.M in commercial law.

A well rounded young professional, while studying Marcello was involved in a Community Street Law programme. He has also continuously flexed his talent in the field of karate, winning the South African KATA Championship in 2016. With an eye for detail, Marcello not only gets the job done, but dresses for the occasion too.
