Kingsley Kingon was born on the 16th October 1934 and matriculated from Selborne College, East London. He did his Articles of Clerkship with Norton Gale & Norton in East London and was admitted as an attorney in April, 1957. He was then employed as a Professional Assistant by the firm and became a partner in 1960 when the name of the firm was changed to Norton Gale & Kingon. Kingsley was admitted as a Notary and Conveyancer in April 1959.
On the 1st March 1976 Norton Gale & Kingon, Addelson Kirk & Moolman and Randall and Bax amalgamated and the partners of the three founding firms formed The Bax Partnership which was later incorporated as Bax Incorporated. Kingsley retired as a partner on the 28 February 2001 and has since then continued to be employed by the firm as a Consultant. Kingsley's practice consists mainly of commercial and conveyancing work. He is a past President of the East London Attorneys Association. He is also an active Rotarian and a past President of the Rotary Club of East London. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow
