Hickley completed his BComm (Law) in 2009 at the University of Pretoria, which he obtained cum laude, majoring in Economics and Business Management. He subsequently obtained his LLB from the same institution and was employed by MacRobert Incorporated shortly thereafter. He has experience in corporate and commercial litigation and drafting, and has served as an associate in the Professional Indemnity Department where he gained extensive experience in complex high-end litigation. He has conducted matters in the High Court and the Magistrates’ Court on the instruction of international and local clients. He has also assisted clients in matters before regulatory boards. He has enjoyed particular exposure to the Healthcare Sector where he has provided legal and ethical advice on a range of issues
Hickley believes in a client-centric approach to law and is sensitive to client costs. He is passionate about dispute resolution and enjoys solving problems in a creative and efficient manner. Hickley is otherwise a director of a Non-Profit Organisation based in Pretoria. He is currently employed at the Cape Town branch of MacRobert Inc.
