Douglas completed his B.A. degree at Rhodes University and went on to do his Honours at the University of Leicester, UK, where he graduated with distinction. He then completed his LL.B. at Rhodes University and achieved the Dean’s List for Academic Merit. Douglas served as the Chairperson and President of the Legal Activism Society. He has experience in Commercial Litigation and Labour Law, involving High Court litigation, Magistrates’ Court litigation and alternative dispute resolution. His areas of practice include contractual disputes, dismissals and strikes, divorce, expropriation of property, collection and recovery of assets, criminal law, restraint of trade, administrative law reviews and immigration law advice.
Douglas joined Cox Yeats in 2016 and practises in the Construction, Engineering and Infrastructure Law Team.
