Spencer Cason graduated from the University of KwaZulu-Natal with an LLB in 2012. In January 2016 he joined Cox Yeats as an associate in the Commercial and Natural Resources Team. Spencer has assisted clients in corporate restructures, mergers and acquisitions, competition law filings, the drafting of general agreements and the preparation of company founding documents. Spencer has assisted a wide variety of clients, including large institutions, small and medium sized businesses, trusts, body corporates and individuals in a broad range of commercial disputes. He has written a number of articles which have been printed in publications such as Without Prejudice and the Sunday Tribune on topics such as trusts, corporate law and business rescue.
