Alexander was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in 2004, after serving articles at a Durban firm of attorneys. He has specialised in Employment and Labour Law since January 2005. Alexander heads up the Labour Law Team where he advises and represents corporate clients in all facets of employment law, both individual and collective disputes, such as dismissals, unfair labour practices, Employment Equity litigation, retrenchments, transfers of businesses, implementing changed working conditions, mutual interest disputes, strike management, strike interdicts, collective agreement disputes and demarcation disputes.
Alexander has an astute knowledge and natural feel for Labour Law. He is motivated by unpacking the complexities of Employment and Labour Law with a view to providing practical and workable solutions to clients. Alexander is known for his ability and focus on delivering employment law services and solutions at uncompromising standards of excellence.
While primarily representing corporate clients, Alexander also represents Executive employees and remains committed to serve the (SASLAW) Durban Labour Court Pro Bono Advice Office. Alexander headed the steering committee which founded and set up the (SASLAW) Durban Labour Court Pro Bono Advice Office from 2010 to 2014.
