Rebecca graduated from the University of Stellenbosch in 2008, with an LLB degree. She then obtained a Masters' degree in Law from the University of Edinburgh focussing on medical ethics and corporate accountability. Rebecca regularly advises a wide range of clients including multinationals, medical aid schemes and various financial institutions including pension funds and insurance companies. She has a particular interest in the governance of both pension funds and medical schemes and has gained considerable insights into pension law administration during the course of large litigious matters in which she has been involved. Rebecca also has experience in opinion drafting in a broad range of areas relating to pension fund law, employee share schemes and medical aid funding. She also frequently assists clients to identity and circumvent employee benefit related risks associated with various corporate transactions.
