History:

Eben obtained his LLB degree from the University of the Free State during 2011 and was admitted as an Attorney during October 2013 in the High Court of South Africa Western Cape Division.  He obtained extensive experience in Litigation, drafting and interpretation of complex agreements, Matrimonial and Family Law matters.

Eben is also a qualified Mediator with strong conflict resolution skills and a remarkable ability to bring conflict between parties to a successful and mutually beneficial resolution. He possesses strong negotiation skills, insight and integrity which serve his clients well.

Eben has a passion for family relationships and child development and understands that even though divorced, when children are involved, the client remains part of a family unit, just with different dynamics.  He believes in open and honest communication and assisting families in transition. He does work that is most consistent with his values and prefers working with clients who seek those services. Family issues can always be settled out of court by using a respectful and dignified process. The goal is not only to reach settlement but assist clients to be creative in developing unique options for resolution and reach an amicable agreement that is more likely to serve them well over the long run.
