B.Sc (Honours – Physical Oceanography and Atmospheric Science), LLB (University of Cape Town)

History:

Edmund specialises in all aspects of maritime and international trade law. His practice covers both commercial work and litigation, including local and international arbitration. Before taking up law, he completed an Honours degree in Physical Oceanography at University of Cape Town during which time he served as a scientist on board the South African Antarctic research vessel, the MV Agulhas.

Edmund also advises a number of international service providers to the oil majors in the offshore oil and gas industry.

Service on Boards and Associations:

Edmund is a member of the South African Maritime Law Association and is the secretary for the Cape Chapter of the association.
