Qualifications:

B.Com (Accountancy), BLC and LLB degrees; and a higher diploma in Tax Law

History:

Altus obtained a B.Com (Accountancy), BLC and LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria and a higher diploma in Tax Law from Rand Afrikaans University. He was admitted as an attorney, notary and conveyancer in 1993. Altus practised as an Advocate at the Pretoria Bar before joining MacRobert during 1998. He obtained the Insolvency Practitioners of South Africa (IPSA) certificate with distinction.

Altus specialised in collections for large financial institutions for a number of years and has recently changed his focus to servicing our United Kingdom-based clients with regard to medical negligence cases in Natal.
